Be an Innovator. Be a challenger. Be an entrepreneur
3Shape growth has been steep for the last 15 years. From two guys with a business plan and a master’s thesis prototype to Denmark’s most successful medical device company with more than 1500 employees. No venture capital. No external investments. Just hard work, talent, and grit! A third of all 3Shape staff work in R&D. Innovation is a central part of ‘our DNA’ which fosters a culture of thinking differently. Emphasising empowerment and taking ownership are key aspects of our culture. We are no longer a start-up, but we take pride in continuing to think like one – together we embrace new ways to exchange ideas and develop unprecedented innovations. All of this helps us to stay engaged with a broad canvas of technologies and applications. We simply think and work in an agile way.
Although we take pride in our star-up mentality, we acknowledge the challenges that follow a scaling organisation. R&D Management Support is here to take up the challenge of driving changes and optimising processes in R&D. Currently we are 17 colleagues in 3 teams situated in both Denmark and Ukraine. You will be part of the team of 8 dedicated project managers and students in Denmark. The working style is agile and fast paced – and with room for great fun and strong colleagueship.
As an intern in R&D Management Support you will support our project managers with organisational change projects and assignments. You will have the opportunity to manage projects on your own and receive high quality guidance from our R&D Management team. We have an exciting pipeline of projects for R&D Management! These include improving transparency into market approvals, getting serious with Big Data, and reducing complexity and waste in our processes. Additional tasks include problem solving and implementing and maintaining initiatives which support all levels of leadership in R&D.
You are currently studying Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar with excellent results. An interest or previous experience with consulting is a benefit to succeed in this position – but not a requirement for the right candidate. You succeed by bringing structure and applying well proven problem-solving skills to complex problems. You have a keen orientation towards stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively and to navigate an agile working environment with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels and backgrounds. You are a strong executor, have an aptitude for change and feel energised by working both independently as well as in close collaboration with the rest of the team. Finally, you thrive on both giving and receiving high quality feedback.
Your development is important to us. We dedicate time and resources to pace your development into 3Shape, R&D and further your project management toolbox - doing our best to match your drive for development in a fast-paced, innovative environment with lots of room for career growth.
