To support our US customers more efficiently, we have just signed a lease for a new production facility in Durham, North Carolina and we are on the look out for 4 Service & Repair Specialists that can help us realize our ambitious production goals.

Job Description

Your main tasks:
• Diagnose and service 3Shape products, which include inter-oral and laboratory scanners
• Assemble components used in repair by hand and with the use of tools such as welders and drills
• Identify and report root cause problems through testing and observation
• Ensure repair/service commitments are met
• Participate in and implement continuous improvement processes and tasks related to service and repair
• Monitor and adjust equipment used in the production process
• Keep detailed, accurate records; contribute to service and repair-related reports
• Ensure work station is clean, properly equipped and free from hazards and distractions and
ability to ad
here to all safety guidelines

Your Profile 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially with high tech products
  • Recent use of Windows operating system
  • Ability to read technical, quality, safety and operational documents; able to apply to the role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical dexterity necessary to assemble/configure small and delicate product parts
  • Possess physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time


  • 2-year technical degree in electronics, computer science or other related disciplines
  • Previous experience working with CRM/ERP systems
  • Previous work experience as a service and/or repair technician, customer support agent, IT help desk, quality specialist
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment, preferably global
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse or factory environment
    Other important factors:
    You will work in a team environment with other repair specialists.   Close collaboration with other parts of the organization, such as Customer Support, is essential.
    This position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime pay); 40-hour workweek in a factory location
