Territory Manager, Shanghai

3Shape is looking for a highly motivated Territory Manager with strong communication skills to support our customers. You should expect travel within the region you support. As a Territory Sales Manager you will be a key member of our team being in daily contact with the customers to support them in their optimal usage of 3Shape products.

General summary:

Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling 3Shape's products and/or related services.

Core functions:

  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs

Details of functions:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organization’ s products/services.
  • Strong ability to communicate advanced topics to users to perform convincing sales pitches and product presentations to small and/or large groups
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers. Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Understand the clinic workflow, and previous experience from a dental support function is a plus.
  • Experience with Intra oral scanning equipment and CAD/CAM is a plus

In addition you are:

  • Customer-oriented and service-minded focus with knowhow to exceed customer expectation
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing. Additional language is a plus.
  • Motivated by being part of an intrapreneurial environment where you are expected to take a broad responsibility.
  • Qualifications: Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications. Valid driver’s license
